Rancho Alumni/Staff Play in Europe |

Congratulations to RVVC family members Jessica Granados, Ashtin Hall, and Sara Hoffman. All 3 have signed contracts to play professionally overseas for 2010-2011. Ashtin Hall is a RVVC class of 2006 alum and will be playing for the Brondby Volleyball Club in Denmark. Ashtin was part of the 2006 RVVC Festival Championship team. Jessica Granados is a current RVVC staff member as well as being a 2006 alumnus. She recently coached our 18-2 team to a 7th place festival finish in Phoenix. She will be joining Ashtin Hall on the Brondby Club. Sara Hoffman, RVVC’s setting coach, has signed a contract to play in Norway. All 3 players have recently arrived safely overseas and we wish them the best of luck with their professional debuts! |

RANCHO VALLEY VOLLEYBALL CLUB
By David White ‘2008’ ALUMNI NEWS The 2008 volleyball season was a very special one for the State of California volleyball community as well as for a number of former RVVC players--13 to be exact. With Stanford, Cal State San Bernardino, the University of La Verne and Concordia (Calif.) finishing 2nd in the NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA Finals, respectively, this was the first time in collegiate volleyball history that a California team advanced to all four national major collegiate division finals. Congratulations to the former RVVC players, who were members of three of the four universities each with storied volleyball programs, and their respective teammates and coaches for their awesome success during the 2008 season. |
