A starting member of the Arizona Wildcats this past season, OH Tiffany Owens and her teammates ended their season on a very positive note with an upset victory over No. 10 UCLA 3-1, at McKale Center. In this most recent victory over the Bruins, Tiffany contributed with 16 kills along with a career-high 14 digs.
Two weeks earlier, Tiffany, a freshman OH, had a career-high-tying 25 kills with a hitting percentage of .435 against in-state rival Arizona State. Note that during a couple of matches in October, Tiffany recorded 11 kills on .409 hitting, six digs and three blocks against then No. 5 Stanford. On the next day, she had one of the best matches of her young career with 17 kills and a career-best six blocks against No. 8 California.
